1pg., 12x7.5", folds, some browing else ok. Thomas French of Deerfirld conveys to Richard Collins of Conway a tract of land in Deerfield for the sum of 30 pounds. Docketed and signed by Edward Pynchon, as Registar in 1773. Pynchon, an eminent judge, was a decendant of William Pynchon, a founder of Springfield, MA, who returned to England in 1652 following a scandal regarding his book opposing the Calvinistic view of atonement.
