IN MEMORIAM, Resolutions adopted by the Directors of the Cadillac Motor Car Company December 1, 1911 upon the death of John T. Shaw.

N.p. (Detroit) 1911. 12x9.5", padded pigskin, (8)pp, printed on rectos only, covers worn, minor interior soil else a nicely printed (calligraphed) tribute. SIGNED BY THOMAS NEAL AS PRESIDENT OF GENERAL MOTORS, AND HENRY M. AND WILFRED C. LELAND, FOUNDERS OF CADILLAC. Shaw was president of Detroit's First National Bank, and later served as a director of Cadillac. Tragically, he was killed in an automobile accident; his wife was later a major stockholder in the Lelands' next project: Lincoln Motor Company. Obviously a scarce item.
