Patent Office, Washington, 2 pp, ribon tied, countersigned by the Commissioner of Patents. Letters Patent granted to Thomas C. Ball, of Shelbourne, Mass. For his invention of "a new and useful Improvement in scythe fastening". Huge engraved vignette of the Patent Office Building at top beneath a spread-eagle attached in an original drawing of the invention with long text with explanation. Some browing else a handsome piece.
