PHOTOGRAPH OF 19th CENTURY ACTRESS MARY ANDERSON.

THIS WONDERFUL ITEM WAS STOLEN ALONG WITH A BOOK ON JAN. 27, 2006 AT OUR FERNDALE, MI STORE. THE PERSON WHO IS NOW IN POSSESSION OF IT IS A STRINGY HAIRED BLEACHED BLOND FREAK WHO COVETED IT SO MUCH HIS OBSESSION RESULTED IN STEALING THE ITEMS BUT NOT GAINING LEGAL TITLE TO THEM. WE ARE OFFERING A $500 REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST AND SUCCESSFUL PROSECUTION OF THIS INDIVIDUAL. Paris 1886. 7 x 11" albumen photograph mounted cabinet-card style on a thick 7 1/2 x 12 1/2" card with gilt bevelled edges, with printed Nadar signature on front mount and Nadar's address and list of honors printed on reverse. Identified in pencil on reverse as "Mary Anderson". Minor scratches to image, mount somewhat worn, else a striking portrait. Original Nadar portraits seldom are offered, and finding one this striking is truly an event! Also included is a copy of Anderson's autobiography, "A FEW MEMORIES", NY 1896. Illus 9 x 6", gilt-dec cloth, 262 + index and ads, covers worn, contents foxed. The photo and the book.
